愚の如く、魯の如し。

(愚か者のようである)

愚も魯も愚かでにぶい意味である。

世間では役立たずとか無用の長物は侮辱の意味であるが、禅では百戦錬磨の修行によって到達した境地。迷悟・凡聖を超越した世界を如愚如魯という。
